メイドインアビスを背景にした歌詞です。アニメ版挿入歌の中に「Underground River」という曲があり、その曲がめっちゃ好きなので基盤として作りました。
ウィスパーボイスで歌うことが想定されおり、1つ目のブロック（When you〜）では水滴が落ちる時のリズム。２つ目のブロック（Rain hides〜）は空を流れる雲、３つ目のブロック（You try〜）は見上げた時に頭上にある木漏れ日をイメージしています。
「You try crying」についてはナナチに向けたもので、「挑む者たち」でナナチが最終的に号泣した時、これは良いアニメだと思いました。⊂(｜)⊃愛ですよ、ナナチ。
